Join a leading wholesale produce distributor in Los Angeles! We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Fresh Produce Dispatch Specialist to support our growing retail operations.
As a Dispatch Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our high-quality produce products to our customers. You will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, coordinating with drivers, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time arrival. Additionally, you will provide support to our sales and customer service teams.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule deliveries and coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time arrival.
- Track shipments and update customer information as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment status updates.
- Process delivery documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve any delivery issues.
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Produce transportation and logistics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus).
- Knowledge and ability to use basic software programs such as Word, Excel, Google platforms, ProducePro.
Pay Range:
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending upon experience.
