We are currently looking for a Banana Ripener to join our team in Eddystone, PA.
As a Banana Ripener you will be responsible for the banana ripening process. In this role, you will also determine product disposition and perform quality and color checks.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in a similar role.
- Warehouse work experience preferred.
- Chemical knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.

- Ripen and maintain Bananas according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform quality inspections, sort and grade Bananas upon arrival.
- Monitor stock and make appropriate arrangements to ensure timely deliveries.
- Process paperwork and maintain inventory and rotation of product.
- Ensure inspection logs are maintained daily.
- Supervise the location’s pest control and sanitation program.
- Handle the management of, and employee training for, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Effectively communicate with General Manager and team on production issues and changes.
