Job Description:
Del Rey Avocado is looking for an energetic individual with a positive attitude to join our team.
This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the storage of fresh avocado inventory at our Fallbrook facility. This person will also assist in managing fresh packed inventory and monitoring aged inventory.

Requirements:
- College Graduate preferred
- Some experience or knowledge of general warehouse procedure operations a plus
- Knowledge of Fruit Ripening Procedures a plus
- Some experience or knowledge of Food Safety Programs a plus
- Must be self-starter and able to multi task
- Bilingual a plus but not required
- Hours are generally seven to four Monday to Friday, but may require overtime
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage the day to day operation of our facility to ensure all policies and procedures are complete
- Develop product integrity standards
- Develop productivity standards
- Oversee, direct, and manage all quality control functions
- Assist with Food Safety and Security standards of the business
- Manage facility organization and cleanliness
- Oversee all inspections, maintain accurate reporting and monitor all policies and regulations as defined by regulatory and company defined food safety and sanitation standards, systems, procedures, and practices to ensure the highest quality of produce
- Coordinate with grower/owner and farm operations leads to create crop plans that include the directing and coordinating of storing the fresh avocados
- Create and maintain a positive working climate to promote employee morale and productivity
