The Data & Process Improvement Manager will manage Duda Farm Fresh Foods Data and E-Commerce platforms. This position will be responsible for managing framework needed to ensure reliable, accurate and timely Data set up. Also responsible for managing on-going enhancements to maintain uniform processes and procedures across DFFF cross-functional teams. This will include managing the workflow structure that allows us to maintain data integrity within DAX in areas including items, materials, customers, E-commerce and inter-company processes. In addition, this individual will manage our DFFF E-Commerce sales to customer platform to ensure we are meeting current, as well as future customer and user requirements. Manage an efficient E-commerce model by collaborating with the IT Manager of EDI on technical aspects and guiding our E-Commerce and Business Applications Analyst in daily E-commerce structure.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Systems or other related fields.
- 5+ years in Data and Systems Management, EDI platforms, managements.
- Leadership and Team management experience.
- Expertise in systems/EDI and data management.
- Demonstrates skills to manage numerous projects under tight deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
- DAX experience a PLUS.
- Manage DFFF framework necessary to ensure uniform, accurate and timely data setup. This includes items, materials, third party platforms and customer setups.
- In conjunction with our Senior Software Applications Manager, manage necessary workflows and workflow enhancements to provide the tools needed for cross-functional teams. Manage data set up to meet all internal and external requirements. Manage continuous improvement in this area so we maintain the accuracy necessary to manage our business today and into the future.
- Create a collaborative environment working with DFFF Operations, Sales, Marketing, Systems, Business Analysis and Accounting teams along with Corporate Accounting, Finance, Food Safety/Sustainability, Procurement and IT teams to ensure all areas of data set up and maintenance is managed in proper sequence to provide timely, accurate and actionable data sets.
- Responsible for managing the DFFF E-Commerce platforms (direct and Itrade) from a DFFF to Customer perspective ensuring we meet and exceed our customer and service providers’ expectations. This includes managing current and new customer/business requirements, data integrity and on-going issues that occur in E-commerce platforms. Work in collaboration with our IT Manager of EDI for new customer/business requirements and E-Commerce and Business Applications manager on daily E-commerce maintenance and issue resolution.
- Direct management of customer platform integrations, requirements and setups that occur throughout the year in areas of updated PTI requirements, new customer data requirements, GDSN (Project Mercury, currently with US Foods and Kroger project) and Costco XtraNet, etc., food safety and sustainability requirements. Work closely with Sales and Marketing Management teams to provide support in improving our timeliness and accuracy in Customer on-boarding process.
- As direct manager, provide leadership and insight to our E-Commerce and Business Applications Analyst responsible for managing our daily E-commerce platforms. In collaboration with Director of Analytics and Systems Support, provide direction to our Category Analyst in areas of new items and customer setups. Promote an organizational culture and structure that fosters cooperation, communication, collaboration, accountability, teamwork and trust.
- Actively engage in Fresh Produce business through industry associations (PMA/United) and customers to continue to keep DFFF on the forefront of industry trends and requirements.
