JOB FILLED - AP / AR Assistant

Freshway Farms and Mainstreet Produce are long term farming, cooling, marketing, and shipping organization in the Santa Maria Valley.

We are seeking an AP/AR Assistant for our Santa Maria, CA location.

Job Description:

• This is an entry level position that typically serves as a jumping off point toward a career in AP/AR.
• The candidate we hire will be the face of the company, greeting and directing phone and walk in traffic to the right individual or department.
• In addition, this individual will support the Accounts Receivable and Payables department by processing invoices, and collecting data as required for reporting.
• They would also contribute to miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and Collections in the agricultural industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, is highly desired.
• Experience with FAMOUS Software is helpful, but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Compensation:

• $17.00-18.00 per hour
