Job Description:
Croda is seeking a full-time Seed Technician I for our Integrated Coating and Seed Technology (INCOTEC) business in our Salinas, CA manufacturing facility.

Requirements:
- AA degree in basic science (chemistry, biology) highly desired and have at least two years’ experience in the seed industry field.
- Basic knowledge of seed priming and seed production
- Maintain adequate seed enhancement records and file accordingly
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work in indoor environment due to confidential seed enhancement methodology
- Be willing to adjust to work schedule changes in order to meet customer order delivery dates
- Must be a team player
- Perform daily tasks in a timely matter
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform various seed enhancement processes in compliance with INCOTEC’s quality standards
- Operate analytical laboratory equipment with precision and perform routine instrument check and calibration
- Be able to operate unique and sophisticated priming equipment
- Be able to work in multi-task work environment
- Follow prescribed seed methodology recipes with minimal supervision
- Follow safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work a flexible work schedule including weekends as needed
- Monitor the assigned products for quality and consistency
