John Vena, Inc. is currently seeking a Logistics Manager who will be responsible for all the activity related to product handling, including unloading, product put-away, order picking, shipping, packing room, product re-grading and managing equipment. The Logistics Manager is responsible for supervising the Shift Supervisors and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements: 
  • At least five (5+) years of warehouse experience (produce experience preferred)
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Managing maintenance of all material handling machinery and equipment and recommends replacement and/or upgrade of equipment as needed.
  • Managing and overseeing order shipping and in-market delivery to customers.
  • Providing leadership, direction, coaching and task assignments for the Shift Supervisors.
  • Managing and coordinating the schedules and activities of Store Supervisors, Selectors, Lead Selectors, Receivers, and Packers.
Education: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
