Position Summary

Baloian Farms is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our Nogales, AZ operation. This position provides the day-to-day oversight necessary to make sure our product is received, handled, and shipped accurately. The right person will be organized, dependable, comfortable working around warehouse operations, and willing to be hands-on in making sure the right product gets on the right truck at the right time. 

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receiving and shipping of Baloian Farms product at our third-party warehouse.
• Verify that the correct product, quantity, pack, and customer information are associated with each shipment.
• Confirm that the correct product is loaded onto the appropriate customer truck.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel responsible for loading and unloading.
• Monitor loading and unloading activity to ensure product is handled properly.
• Review shipping scheduled, customer orders, and load information.
• Help resolve discrepancies involving product, quantities, pallets, or shipments.
• Communicate with Baloian Farms sales, operations, commodity management, and transportation teams regarding shipping and receiving activity.
• Help monitor product movement and inventory within the facility.
• Report loading, receiving, or product issues to the Nogales Operations Manager.
• Assist with other operational duties/cross training as directed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in produce, warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or transportation preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and customer orders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and oversee activity performed by third-party warehouse personnel.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments and changing priorities.
• Dependable and willing to take ownership of the operation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
