Job Description:
S. Katzman Produce is currently seeking a Trucking Supervisor in Bronx, New York who will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and mentoring employees.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor and manage employee schedules, company uniforms, coverage of shifts, overtime, and attendance
- Mentor and implement proper compliance with Bill of Ladings, Credits, Returns, Log Books, Properly Securing and Loading Loads, and accountability with condition of merchandise
- Manage progressive discipline including employee mistakes and errors
- Oversee efficiencies of product transfers and ensures timely deliveries
- Establish general accountability for truck maintenance, Pre and Post-trip Inspections, and Cleaning
- Handle Vehicle Registrations, License Tags, Infractions, and EZ Pass Accounts.
- Manage overall order process between sales, warehouse employees, truck drivers, and customers
- Develop and implement operational policies that promote revenue growth. Assess utilization of outsourced versus in house options
