We’re currently looking for an Export Warehouse Lead to join our operations in Miami, FL.
We are seeking someone who is highly organized and experienced to oversee the daily operations of our export warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in exporting fresh produce, managing warehouse teams, coordinating container loading, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and export regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily chilled warehouse operations related to export shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of export produce.
- Monitor and enforce quality control protocols for all outgoing produce.
- Coordinate and monitor container loading to ensure proper handling and documentation.
- Ensure all export shipments meet quality assurance standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock rotation (FIFO).
- Collaborate with logistics and export teams to ensure timely and efficient shipments.
- Ensure compliance with international export regulations, including documentation and labeling.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards in the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to export logistics and warehouse operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years produce warehouse export operations.
- Strong understanding of container logistics and international shipping practices.
- Experience with quality assurance in a warehouse or export environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and export documentation platforms.
- Produce Experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
