Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead growth across our domestic fresh produce portfolio, with a primary focus on avocados. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and supporting the continued expansion of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet volume, quality, and margin targets while expanding the supplier base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, packers, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams — including sales, operations, and logistics — to support business growth and process improvement.
• Monitor market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify and evaluate new sourcing opportunities within the avocado category and related commodities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in the fresh produce industry, with demonstrated expertise in avocados (required).
• Experience with limes or other Mexican commodities is an asset.
• Established relationships within the produce industry, including with growers and/or packers.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sourcing targets.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
