We are looking for a self motivated top level CEO that wants to influence a great many groups and can “speak their language” by:
- Working closely with Washington, D.C., to support, oppose and influence legislation.
- Conducting education activity to spotlight the nutritional benefits of peanuts.
- Becoming a resource for peanut research.
- Identifying ways to improve yield and profitability.
- Stimulating the use of peanuts in NC, the United States and around the world.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Graduation from a four year college or university or equivalency.
- Work related experience in non-profit organization management and/or agricultural marketing.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word or WordPerfect are required.
- Proficient in Social Media utilization.
- In addition to the above qualifications, applicant should be passionate about agriculture and the success of peanut farmers.
