As we continue to grow, we have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic “A”.
This position is responsible to maintain and sustain the safe operation of all processing equipment with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of technical knowledge in troubleshooting failures and the repair maintenance activities for all processing equipment in support of maximizing production efforts.
- Perform advanced preventative maintenance tasks
- Support the repair and maintenance activities of all equipment
- Consistently maintain a clean and organized work area; Care of shop equipment
- Plumbing skills, layout, pipe threading, proper use of fittings, etc.
- Capable of reading electrical schematics and AutoCad layouts
- Strong understanding on the operation of control panels; motor starters, VFD’s, relays, circuit breakers, troubleshooting wiring, etc.
- Employee must be comfortable working around high power electrical circuits 480v, 220v, 120v, and 24v
- Understand the operation of conveyors; alignment of belts, inspection of bearings, gearboxes, and motors
- Safely conduct blade changes and repairs on industrial slicers
- Repair and replace pneumatic hoists systems; check for chain wear and safety hook/ latches
- Capable of repairing and replacing pumps, ensuring rotation, wiring, and inspection of impeller
- Troubleshoot and pinpoint advanced failure root causes
- Thorough understanding of Safety and Food Safety policies / guidelines
- Capable of supporting all areas of Maintenance in general
- Basic understanding of Ammonia safety and related refrigeration assemblies
Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of
34-5 years of maintenance related experience in the field - Ability to use hand and power tools
- Flexible work schedule, different days and hours
- Ability to comply with safety rules and follow GMP’s
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and electrical schematics
- Ability to work in cold- wet environment
- Basic math knowledge
- Bilingual in English/ Spanish preferred but not required
- Electrical and Automotive experience a plus
- Ability to work on multiple priorities
- Excellent attendance record highly desire
- Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
