Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for an experienced food safety expert with effective communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Our company is a progressive Florida based grower/shipper located in Fort Lauderdale.
The position will report directly to the Company’s President.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring food safety audits, USDA requirements and certification record keeping while working in cooperation with certification providers and record tracking service providers.

Key Job Requirements:

Knowledge of all fresh produce and agricultural facility fresh produce food safety and organic regulatory law.

Familiar with 3rd party Food Safety audits and subsequent certification records keeping.

Strong written, oral communication skills and attention to detail

4-year degree preferred and/or relevant industry training and experience

Experience working with and helping growers and facilities comply with food safety audits, organic audits, quality audits and regulatory requirements.

Ability to occasionally travel.
