Essential Functions:
- Foster a culture of gross margin consciousness, unprecedented customer service, proper cost to serve, and maximum profitability.
- Continuously evaluate and evolve product and program offerings to drive performance and market relevancy.
- Implement key behaviors and process for growing and maintaining sales performance in all areas.
- Identify, present negotiate and develop products/programs with marketing and sales.
- Execute performance scorecards at individual, department, and organizational level(s).
- Review all products and programs to determine if purchasing direct, aligning with IFC, or moving to a new alternative is the appropriate action for VLP.
- Foster a culture of gross margin consciousness, unprecedented customer service, proper cost to serve, and maximum profitability.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Execute key strategic initiatives within department and cross-functionally.
Competencies, Education, and Skills to be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior management position, preferably as a President or similar role.
- Proficient PC skills in CRM and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail system.
- Start-Up Smart (willing to do what’s needed whenever and wherever needed).
- Intellectual horsepower (highly analytical & strategic).
- Highly resourceful (stretches people and money; compresses time).
- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills (high EQ).
- Influencing skills (proven ability to persuade others towards an idea or goal).
Physical Demands:
- Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel as needed.
- Stand or sit for long periods of time.
