Job Description:
Company Description and work location: Acquistapace Farms, Inc. is a family-owned farming Company. We are seeking a motivated Growing Foreman to grow strawberries and vegetables in Gaudalupe, Ca. This position is full time.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all tractor drivers, sprayers and irrigators
- Ensure planting schedule is maintained
- Responsible for all cultural practices and crop production tasks
- Schedule of all ground work
- Schedule Irrigation and Pre-irrigation
- Ensure proper timing of sprays, fertilizers, and irrigations
- Ensure that all production tractors and equipment are maintained, and serviced
Qualifications:
- Speak Spanish
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team setting
- Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
