Noble Citrus is a family-owned citrus operation with a proud legacy spanning nearly 100 years. Founded in 1926 as WG Roes & Sons, Inc. as a Florida tangerine grower, today the fourth generation of the Roe family specializes in tangerines, pummelos, blueberries, and other specialty varieties of citrus.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Winter Haven, Florida. This on-site position will play a key role in supporting our accounting and sales teams and serves as the customer support specialist for the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Invoice sales orders, and process invoice adjustments.
- Review and research overpayments, short payments, and deductions.
- Process daily cash receipts.
- Utilize customer EDI platforms to confirm, ship, and invoice orders, to obtain remittance information, and to resolve AR discrepancies.
- Manage the AR collection process, including preparing, maintaining, and analyzing aging reports.
- Process customer statements and communicate with customers regarding invoices.
- Collaborate closely with customers and sales team to address and resolve billing issues.
- Support the sales teams with reports as requested.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), and willingness to learn new systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, small team environment.
- Committed to maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and providing excellent customer service.
- Proactive and accountable, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Produce or agricultural industry experience.
- Experience with Famous Software ERP, or similar software.
