Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Develop strategies for capital investment, cash flow, and long-term planning.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a small accounting team with professionalism and accountability.
- Strengthen systems and internal controls to support scalability and generational transition.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership during succession and future planning.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/MBA preferred.
- Experience managing financial operations in multi-entity or closely held businesses.
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to ownership.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and strategic foresight.
- Agricultural industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Spanish language ability a plus.
