Harvesting Manager – Increased acreage has made it imperative that we hire an additional Harvesting Manager. This person will be responsible for aspects of daily field operations to ensure that the farm’s production and harvest goals are met. This includes forecasting the correct quantity, quality, and post-harvest handling on all produce until it leaves the farm. Special knowledge in celery, cauliflower and broccoli as well as other various desert vegetable crops.
This role requires working closely with the growing department. Must be able to collaborate with administration, customers, other managers, and crews. This role also includes daily administrative tasks such as excellent forecasting skills, successful order fulfillment, proper inventory of all packing materials and supplies, scheduling crews, making the daily harvest lists, updating the availability list, and payroll verification.
The farming area is located in Morelos, Mexico which is 25 miles from the Yuma, Arizona office. The position offers the incumbent to live in the United States or in Mexico.

- Over see the efficiency, quality control and adherence of food safety procedures at all times
- Monitor quantity and quality of harvested produce and communicate any changes to customers
- Responsible for proper inventory of all materials and packing supplies required for order fulfillment, scheduling harvest crew, ensuring the crew is on time and notifying crew of schedule changes
- Compile, print and distribute harvest list daily
- Maintain and enforce worker rights policies and procedures
