Responsibilities & Duties:
- Giro machine experience preferred
- Forklift experience
- Responsible for maintaining a clean packing environment
- Ensures that all products leaving the packing room are top quality and condition
- Coordinates with the Food Safety Manager to enforce staff adherence to operational and food safety policies
- Coordinates the inventory levels of items repacked for everyday sales
- Manages and maintains labeling compliance according to product safety policy
- Participates in creation and maintenance of product traceability numbers
- Investigates various ways to improve packing techniques and packaging material selection
- Suggest packaging requirements for proposed new products
- Is responsible to maintain all packing tools and machines in a safe and clean manner
- Is responsible to keep an accurate inventory of all packaging supplies regularly.
- Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs
- Provides high quality services, processes and programs while consistently seeking ways to improve outcomes and enhance the organization. Meets or exceeds goals and objectives and consistently engages in productive work effort requiring minimal direction for manager

- Knowledge of Famous or Produce Pro preferred
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years fresh produce packing experience
- Giro machine experience preferred
