Job Description:
FreshPro Food Distributors, a leading distributor of conventional produce, organics, and fresh cut products to supermarkets and food service institutions up and down the east coast.
We are currently looking for a SUPERVISOR OF INVENTORY AND QUALITY CONTROL to join our team in West Caldwell, NJ.

Requirements:
** Occasional weekend coverage as business dictates, i.e. during peak holiday season.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure compliance with established inventory control procedures and receiving procedures. Direct union warehouse personnel.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances.
- Oversee the produce inspection process; coordinate split room and returns/rework process.
- Oversee product rotation audits.
- Conduct daily cycle counts of produce.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of Supervisory experience in a produce environment.
- Must be able to analyze, research and resolve inventory variances.
- Basic mathematical skills for converting cases to units and similar calculations.
- Proficient in using a PC, including MS Word, Excel and email.
- Strong data entry skills.
