Maintenance workers fix and maintain mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Tasks can include anything from plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep to electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.

In the produce industry, most large companies rely on important equipment to keep their business running smoothly and in a timely manner. These machines and systems need to be upkept well to prevent costly repairs or replacements, or stalls in productivity. That’s where a maintenance worker comes in.
