Henry Avocado Company is a year-round marketer and distributor of custom-ripened fresh avocados sourced from California, Mexico, Peru, and Chile. The company's purpose is to consistently provide customers with superior quality fresh avocados and great service.
In addition to farming and packing avocados from its California groves, the company is a significant year-round importer of fresh avocados - mainly from Mexico.
Henry has distribution centers with forced-air ripening rooms in North Carolina, Northern California, Southern California, Arizona, and Texas to ensure that it is close enough to its customers to provide on-time delivery of fresh avocados at the correct ripeness stage. In 1925, the Henry family planted its original avocado grove in Escondido. Today, most of the land remains in avocado production.
