Currently, Live Oak Farms shepherds production on more than 3,000 acres of farmland located primarily in Merced County. Produce is also grown in Fresno, Santa Clara, San Benito and San Joaquin counties which allows Live Oak Farms to take optimum advantage of various microclimates and soil types during the long growing season. The primary crops are round tomatoes, roma tomatoes and bell peppers. All produce is packed and shipped from Live Oak’s Le Grand, California location. In addition to its main crops, Live Oak Farms also grows almonds, alfalfa, wheat, corn and other rotational crops to diversify and compliment the company’s fruit and vegetable production.
Second and third generation Giampaoli family members now actively manage Live Oak Farms. Each family member honors the founding principles of honesty, hard work, dedication, love of family and the importance of community. Farming is a demanding profession, but it remains a labor of love for the Giampaoli family. A passion for farming and agriculture has always been the foundation for this family business, enabling Live Oak Farms to earn a respected reputation for quality products and service recognized throughout the industry.
