Southern Melon, which is a family business based in Atlanta, Georgia, distributes watermelons across the Southeast region of the United States. Our delicious watermelons are available year-round and are sourced and purchased from growing regions in the United States and Mexico. Southern Melon distributes a variety of labels, primarily "Juicy," "Frutrogam" and "Fancy Fox." We are proud to say, "Primus GMP Certified." Our culture in our new thriving venture is sharp, dynamic, hard working. We get things done with focus and purpose but don't be surprised when you see us having a bit of fun too. We are open to chatting with you if you have a degree and basic understanding of the Accounting Functions, but would love to chat with you if you are at a Controller level who can come in and take charge. You must however be energetic, open to ideas and think outside the box. Not just a doer, but a solver. A person with a purpose. We are very excited where our young company is going. We have solid financial backing base on our success in farming since the 1940's. We are shipping out about 4,000 loads a year at about 25 million. Let's make it even better. Together with a great group of minds already in place, we will make it happen. But, we need you!
