Harry Singh Jr., and his father before him have been growing vine ripened tomatoes in the Oceanside, California area for the past 70 years. The special microclimate this area enjoys enables production of a superior quality, best tasting vine ripened tomato during the last six months of each year.
After a year of not producing tomatoes Mr. Singh Jr. has now returned to the growing of these same unexcelled tomatoes. His new company is West Coast Tomato Grower, LLC, and is solely operated by Mr. Singh.
West Coast Tomato Growers has the same key employees as in the past, and all of the specialized equipment necessary to grow and pack pole tomatoes. The same land Mr. Singh has farmed for decades will be used in this reawakened venture. Experience is what counts with the final product, and he returns with a full staff of trained people and all the necessary tools to do the job.
Mr. Singh’s primary goal is to produce the best tomatoes to provide customers with satisfaction. He will produce only varieties that have extended shelf life and flavor. By his devoting full time to the production side, customers are assured they will receive a superior tomato as in the past. Sales and marketing functions will be provided by the experienced Oppenheimer Group.
