We are always looking for new talent to join our team. We're currently seeking a Produce Specialist in Lorton, Virginia. Candidates should have produce knowledge and expertise and at least 7 years of Category Management or equivalent experience.

Requirements:
- Produce Knowledge and Expertise - ability to evaluate current and future market conditions; negotiate and multitask.

- Passion and Team Orientation - Demonstrates a passion for the Five Guys brand. Shows the ability to consistently contribute to the overall improvement of the brand.
- Travel to all produce growers and distributors to oversee FG production and verify FG specs.
- Travel to FG stores to assist in quality concerns or questions.
- 7+ years Category Management or equivalent experience, including supplier management and pricing. Prior experience in foodservice or food manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for Developing and Maintaining all produce specifications
- Responsible for evaluating the growing and distribution capabilities of all produce suppliers
- Responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with suppliers and lead negotiation efforts.
- Responsible for managing the produce freight costs from growers into distribution.
- Responsible for producing weekly produce updates that illustrates current and future market conditions.
- Responsible for conducting QC audits with all Five Guys produce growers and distributor
- Assists franchisees with questions or quality concerns
Education:
- 4-year college Degree Preferred. Equivalent life experience considered.
Skills:
- Proficient in Excel and Word documents.
