Job Description:

FreshKO Produce Services, Inc., is a distribution company located in Fresno, CA. We specialize in the sourcing and distribution of over 625 fresh fruits, vegetables and related items to independent grocery stores, chains, retailers and restaurants throughout California.

We have an immediate opening for a Night Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for directing and managing the activities of warehouse personnel to ensure that production and accuracy standards are met. Primary responsibilities include supervising the work of the warehouse including defining and achieving goals for safety, customer service, accuracy and efficiency. Creating a positive and safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
2-4 years of line supervision preferred
Familiarity and experience with a wide range of produce items preferred
Must have working knowledge of the proper operation of warehouse equipment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not necessary
Strong communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in MS Office products
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be flexible with work schedule
Ability to work independently
Proven ability to lead a team
Strong basic math skills

Responsibilities & Duties:

Oversees order pullers, receivers, repacking, and general warehouse activities
Walks warehouse to help maintain cleanliness of warehouse, and ensures that general company and warehouse policies and procedures are followed
Oversees physical inventory and Shipping Operations
Communicates with Sales and Transportation/Dispatch to ensure orders are going out smoothly and on-time dispatch
Assists with Food Safety and Security standards of the business
Coordinates work schedules to ensure shifts are covered, and breaks and lunches are taken
Creates and maintains a positive working climate to promote employee morale and productivity in a fast paced team environment
