Are you an experienced Production Manager ready to lead operations in a dynamic, fast-paced food environment? Produce Experience Inc., a leading importer and packer of fresh produce, is looking for a strong operational leader to oversee our packing facility in the Bronx.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and coordinate weekly production in alignment with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics.
- Supervise the Production Supervisor and both shifts, ensuring efficient, on-time operations.
- Define and track key KPIs: productivity, yield, waste, attendance, and line efficiency.
- Lead process improvements to optimize product flow, reduce waste, and boost efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and quality standards in coordination with the QA team.
- Manage staffing, training, and team performance while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Support new product launches and packaging initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Production, or related fields.
- 3+ years leading production or packing teams in the food or perishable goods sector.
- Solid knowledge of food safety, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Comfortable working in cold environments and managing rotating shifts.
