About the Role: Sales and Customer Account Management
We're seeking a self-motivated, organized, and punctual individual to cultivate and manage relationships with a variety of customers. The produce industry is fast-paced and opportunistic, demanding exceptional service to meet evolving customer needs. As a Sales and Customer Account Management professional, you will play a crucial role in our continued success.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and expand your book of business with existing customers and shippers.
  • Proactively contact existing and potential new customers daily, offering products and collaborating on potential ad items and promotions.
  • Develop new customer relationships through cold calling and networking.
  • Learn and utilize in-depth knowledge of our product inventory and produce commodities to effectively inform customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, logistics) to ensure seamless customer service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong customer service orientation, addressing needs and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Negotiate effectively and solve problems creatively.
  • Demonstrate excellent follow-through skills, ensuring all customer interactions are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze changing market factors to identify opportunities and contribute to strategic decision-making.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in produce sales, preferably with experience in fruit, citrus, or Asian produce.
  • Excellent people skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency.
