Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Foodservice Sales Manager to plan and implement our sales program to existing and new food service customers.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of the food service business from the ground up, with a thorough understanding of the different dynamics at the Operator, Distributor, and Broker level
- Interpersonal selling skills and negotiations expertise.
- Ability to penetrate to operator marketing and culinary teams as well as distributor and broker culinary teams
- Detail oriented – pays close and careful attention to accurate detail
- Basic to intermediate math skills – must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Spreadsheet skills – must have basic spreadsheet skills with Excel
- Problem solving – identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Customer Service – manages difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, and solicits
- Customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance and meets commitments
- Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Identifies, develops, and manages key account relationships at the operator and distributor levels
- Develops, manages sales and margin operating budgets
- Develops and manages implementation of food service contracts
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products
- Meets with key clients, develops, maintains relationships, negotiates and closes deals
- Analyzes and controls department expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness
- Competent handling all of related administrative duties
Education:
- College Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of fresh produce foodservice sales experience.
