Produce Industry Business Development Partner

You know the produce industry. We have something worth bringing to it.

Shrink Software is building a small network of independent business development partners with deep relationships in the food industry. We are looking for an experienced produce-industry professional who already knows the people and companies in this market.

You might be a current or former executive, consultant, supplier, industry advisor, or semi-retired professional. You do not need to be a software salesperson. What matters most is the industry knowledge, credibility, and relationships you've built over your career.

We are particularly interested in people with relationships among growers, packers, processors, fresh-cut operations, distributors, and other produce organizations where operational execution, traceability, and food-safety compliance matter.

The role

Your primary role is to identify opportunities, make senior-level introductions, and help develop relationships within the produce industry. Shrink handles product demonstrations, technical evaluation, contracting, and implementation.

The arrangement

This is an independent, contract-based opportunity—not a salaried position. Compensation is entirely performance-based and tied to business you originate or help develop. It can be particularly attractive to an established industry professional who wants to monetize a strong network without taking on another full-time operating role.
