IT Helpdesk Technician

The Role: The IT Helpdesk Technician will provide hands-on technical support with the IT Operations Team. This role requires solid troubleshooting skills in a Microsoft Windows/M365 environment with a great customer service mindset. This is an on-site based job with occasional travel to remote sites. On-call and after-hour support on a rotational and as-needed basis is required.

Location: Salinas, CA

Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment.
• Provide end user support for Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and various business applications.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware.
• Image, deploy, configure, and upgrade desktop, laptop and mobile systems.
• Troubleshoot user account issues, password resets, and File Rights Requests.
• Support conference room technology and peripheral devices.
• Answer support tickets, documenting resolutions within the ticketing system.
• Assist in updating and maintaining internal documentation.
• Assist with maintaining IT equipment inventory.
• Ability to lift and implement devices at 30lbs
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred but not required.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or other industry-recognized certifications a plus.
• Experience with Active Directory and endpoint management tools.
• Experience supporting hardware deployments, device refresh projects, or office moves.

• Good documentation practice
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
