Job Description:
Produce Packaging, Inc. is a medium-sized, family-run repacker and fresh-cut processor with a 600-mile delivery radius from Cleveland, OH. We’re growing and constantly innovating. Each of our customers is unique, and we firmly believe in customizing products and packaging for them. We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all fresh-cut and repacking activities.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in running a fresh-cut operation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service. You must be flexible and creative, with the ability to work with tight deadlines, and meet last minute requests on a regular basis.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with Produce Pro (highly preferred), or a similar fresh produce software repack module.
- Computer fluency and competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and with the ability to work a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Direct and manage all aspects of production of our fresh-cut and repack operations.
- Suggest improvements to our processes and packaging to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Determine and manage production personnel requirements in a manner to keep labor costs at a minimum.
- Evaluate personnel on a regular basis.
- Insure that our software is accurate with regard to inventory and repacks, and train others on how to keep the system accurate.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, as well as our food safety plans.
- Organize and use inventory such that utilization is maximized and shrink minimized.
