Setton Farms is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in Terra Bella, CA. Successful candidates will have experience in Food Science, Production Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering or a related field. Requirements:
- 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience required
- Experience in Food Science, Production Management, Industrial Technology, Engineering or related field
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends during harvest period
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for supervising day-to-day production and manufacturing activities on a designated shift
- Reports to the Production Manager
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and promotes plant safety
- Adhere to corporate Quality Control, Sanitation, GMP and HACCP standards
- Review shift activities, documents and results and make adjustments as required for continuous improvement
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or technical degree
Skills:
- Bilingual skills preferred (English and Spanish)
