Job Description:
The Entry Level QA Technician is responsible for daily weight and quality checks on all products. This person will spend 100% of their time on the production floor recording quality metrics. This position reports directly to the QA Manager and will work closely with the QA Lead, Level 2 techs and production staff.

- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must work in warm and cold environments
- Work safely around chemicals and equipment
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor staff adherence to GMP Policy

Verify Control Points (CP’s)
- Verify lot code and best by dates on all packaging
- Perform weight verification checks
- Perform seal checks for Repak machine and Flow Wrap machine
- Understanding and memorization of all Critical Control Points (CCP’s)
- Demonstrate working knowledge of allergens and procedures
- Evaluate bread/tortilla quality at time of delivery
- Assist in assuring paperwork, sanitation and production forms are being filled out correctly and consistently.
- Train and guide employees in quality parameters
- Identify areas of improvement in quality and production SOPs.
