We are seeking a Senior Grower to join our team in Camarillo, CA. The purpose of the senior grower role is to oversee all aspects of growing within a phase. This role is integral in ensuring plant health and consistent production. This includes supervision and leadership in all areas of good horticultural practices and growing techniques.
The person we’re looking for has:
- Post-secondary education in horticulture or related field - 10 years of growing experience, with no less than 5 years being senior grower of site.
- 5 years of greenhouse vegetable growing experience.
- Experience managing a team of 3 or more individuals.
- Familiar with Priva and Argus climate computer systems.
- Familiar with Priva Fusion labour tracking computer systems.
- Familiar with Microsoft suite of software.
- Able to develop and lead a team through collaborative teamwork.
