We have an immediate opportunity for a Sourcing and Procurement Lead to to join our RPE Sales Team along with being the operations partner at Tasteful Selections in Arvin, CA with some remote flexibility! Tasteful Selections is a joint venture between RPE, Inc., CSS Farms, Inc. and Plover River Farms, Inc. The company is a vertically integrated farming operation that grows, packs, and markets baby potatoes, fingerlings and seed potatoes.
As part of the Sales Team, reporting to the V.P. of Program and Business Development, the Sourcing and Procurement Lead procures potatoes from grower partners to fulfill customer short-term orders and assists the Sales Team with forecasting and selling excess supply of potato inventory. The S&P Lead serves as a communication conduit between the RPE Sales Team, Tasteful Selections Operations Team and External Grower partners pertaining to order status, invoice discrepancies, quality concerns and more.
What qualifications are required?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience
- Preferred agriculture experience and/or warehousing storage and shipping
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrated experience resolving process bottlenecks
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
