Ryeco is looking for an experienced and courteous Truck Driver to serve our customers in a safe and timely manner. This is a union job with full benefits (medical, dental, eye glass, prescription, pension).
Responsibilities include transporting products over land to and from customer locations, performing diligent pre- and post-trip inspections, planning routes and meeting delivery schedules, documenting work/rest periods and miles spent driving, and retaining fuel/toll receipts. Our drivers must comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures, be able to maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, are able to work six days per week, every other weekend, and some holidays. Most start times are early morning.
Requirements for the job are a proven work experience as a Class A Truck Driver, the ability to drive long hours locally, including some occasional regional travel, extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Must have a clean DMV driving record, the adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). We are looking for a self-motivated, team player who puts the customer experience first. Must have a valid truck driving license (CDL Class A).”
