We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Production Manager to assist with meeting company goals, improving employee safety, following compliance, food safety, quality, and proper rotation of product.
This is a salaried position with work 7 days per week (occasionally 6) from October through May, and 4 days per week from June thru September.

Responsibilities

Deliver results across key business functions such as safety, quality, and efficiency

Ensure that an engaged, committed, skilled and flexible workforce is maintained at all times.

Reviews inventories of material stored and advise management of inventory status of material items

Works closely with quality control personnel to review product consistency and to determine trends and areas of improvement

Monitor operational expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining productivity and product quality

Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and SOPs
