As farmers ourselves, we get it. Since 2019 we’ve been supplying local grocery stores with fresh carrots from our family farms in Minnesota and Georgia. Objective: 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and help grow our business. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully managing a team of sales professionals, achieving sales targets, and building lasting customer relationships. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, forecasting sales projections, and collaborating with other departments to drive revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meets with current customers to drive sales, increase account revenue, increase profitability
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs 
  • Work directly with sales and operations team members to craft sales targets and goals
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends Freha’s reach
  • Meet or exceed company sales growth and margin objectives
  • Represent customer feedback and present sales reports to management
  • Lead the development of strategic produce procurement and category management initiatives to ensure that an adequate supply of produce is secured
  • Take the lead in monitoring, qualifying, and reporting on market conditions, competitor’s products, and pricing
  • Capability to build and expand our sales team 
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in fresh produce 
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and sales analytics tools
  • Experienced negotiator 
  • Flexibility to travel (approximately 25%) 
  • Must reside in EST or CST
