Job Description:
The Seald Sweet story began in 1909 when the grower-owned cooperative Florida Citrus Exchange was founded. Through nearly a century of progress and the merger with Greenyard, Seald Sweet International is now a global source of the complete citrus category.
Within the last few years, they have expanded to bring our customers more produce commodities including grapes, pears, stone fruit commodities, blueberries, avocados, and vegetables. As a vertically integrated company, they grow and nurture their products from seed to consumer with the highest food safety standards, efficient delivery systems, and consistent, high quality.
We are currently seeking a Sales Associate for our McAllen TX area.
DUTIES:
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, and availability.
- Handle day-to-day sales calls and sales order processes.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Develop new business leads and opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and maintain excellent rapport with customers.
- Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience selling primarily avocados with at least 5 years’ experience in selling produce.
- Must speak English and Spanish.
- Working 5 days per week, 8 – 5.
COMPENSATION:
- Works remotely.
- Contractor format to start but may offer him/she a full-time position.
- No benefits under the contractor format.
- The pay scale is open.
