Delfino Marketing was founded in 1991. Since then, it has maintained its local presence in Plant City and grown its customer base throughout the U.S. Originally, functioning exclusively as a brokerage office, we now have several growing deals, allowing us to better serve our customers while still brokering when necessary. Family-owned and operated, Delfino Marketing looks to strike a balance between work and family.

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative that is interested in the freedom and opportunity for a commission-based sales role to join our team in Plant CIty, Florida.
 
Our company looks to equip its sales team with the necessary resources to provide consistent quality service.

We have been within the industry for 30+ years and we have a strong reputation of integrity, honesty, and efficiency. We have experienced significant volume growth in the last five years and are seeking team-oriented sales persons that are interested in maintaining that growth as we continue to develop and expand.

We are a family-owned operation that believes there is a time to work and a time to spend with loved ones. Vacation time is ample and our team members support one another to accommodate and assist when unexpected events arise.

Responsibilities: - Sales representative is responsible for:

  • "Cold calling" new potential customers
  • Developing and maintaining new customer accounts throughout the U.S.
  • Attending industry conventions

Mandatory Qualifications: - Since this position is largely paid on a commission-structure, no major qualifications exist beyond the following.

  • Honest work ethic - Our company takes its reputation very seriously, and has no interest in unethical practices that may jeopardize our company's character.
  • In-office - Although remote work is feasible after some time, initially work must be in-person to ensure quality matches company's expectations.

Beneficial Qualifications: - These characteristics are not necessary, but will help minimize the time needed to onboard a new employee:

  • Existing customer base - Although the sales representative is not responsible for procuring / brokering their own products, if they are able to bring existing account relationships, this is a significant factor to "hitting the ground running."
  • Grower relationships / deals - Again, it will not be the sales representative's responsibility to procure their own products, but any grower relationships that the person can facilitate upon entry only increase the individuals value to our company.
  • Industry Experience - A familiarity with the industry will can help accelerate training as well.

Salary: Negotiable with or without a base, dependent upon applicant's needs, experience, and existing customer base.
