We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Berry and Vegetables Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality berries from local and international suppliers to meet our company's production needs. The candidate must have experience in Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with berry suppliers to ensure a consistent and reliable source of high-quality berries
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
- Monitor market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- Coordinate logistics and transportation of berries to ensure timely delivery to our production facilities
- Work closely with the production team to forecast demand and ensure an adequate supply of berries at all times
- Manage inventory levels and track supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or agriculture industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software Reserva a plus.
