An avocado distributor/wholesaler is looking to hire a Senior Produce Sales Representative.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow a strong customer base across the Southeast and Northeast U.S.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Sell, promote, and manage avocado and other produce programs with retail, wholesale, and foodservice accounts
- Track market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to stay ahead of demand
- Collaborate with growers, logistics, and operations to ensure consistent supply and quality
- Travel regularly to visit customers, attend industry events, and strengthen relationships
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in fresh produce, with strong preference for avocado experience
- Established relationships within Southeast and/or Northeast produce markets
- Confidence negotiating deals and closing business
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
Location: Remote
Salary: $80-$100k
