About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and flexible National Supply Chain Manager – Vegetables with extensive experience in Fresh produce to ensure our produce to the domestic and export markets meet our customer’s quality specification. The role reports directly to the CEO.

Relocation Information:

- Experience in either supply and/or sales in the agricultural or horticulture industry, will be highly regarded
- Sound knowledge in supply and logistics
- High level communication skills with advanced level consulting and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal & external customers and suppliers
- Advanced levels of desktop applications including excel
- Tertiary qualifications in horticulture science
- Intermediate level of verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Development, management, and execution of medium to long term supply plans to ensure that full supply is available as per our customer expectations
- Helping our suppliers (growers and packers both domestically and internationally) meet our customer and quality specifications (HACCP, SQF, WQA and BRC) and expectations
- Become a senior technical reference point for all PFA – vegetable products and oversee the relationships between the grower, customer, and supplier base and resolving any day-to-day issues that may emerge
- Recommend solutions to any identified technical issues
- Manage the Sales and Operations Planning Process as well as the Supply Chain Management team and budget
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives with the QA and logistics teams to ensure products are delivered in full, on time, and in specification (DIFOTQ)
- Provide technical guidance to Category managers to provide full service requirements to our customers
- Prepare reports on technical and quality issues, along with relevant action taken
- A degree/diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture or other rural studies together with relevant experience in Vegetables
