Merrill Farms LLC is located in Salinas, CA with operations from Marina to Soledad. Merrill Farms LLC is a 3rd generation family farming operation with a vision to maintain sustainable farming practices while delivering superior produce to our customers.
We are currently seeking the right candidate as the Assistant Ranch Farming Foreman.

Requirements:
- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in production agriculture (tractor work and irrigation).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing workers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi task.
- Ability and willingness to work long hours and weekends.
- Team-oriented.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Coordinate with ranch managers to ensure execution of the farming plan.
- Assure implementation of soil tillage and crop management programs to maximize yields.
- Manage tractor drivers and irrigators; ensure proper training; manage performance.
- Enforce all safety and food safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, audits or food safety, company policy and workers safety.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean and safe work environment.
- Assist the Farm Manager with special projects as needed.
