The Nunes Company, Inc. has an immediate full-time position for an enthusiastic, hardworking experienced IT Support Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large industry leading Salinas-based, grower shipper.
This is a full-time position based in Salinas, California responsible for providing end user computer technical assistance for the administration and sales, distribution, and harvest management staff and facilities.
Primary duties include first level support to PC/handheld computing device users, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of all printing devices and troubleshooting wide area network connections and associated telecommunications assemblies. Nunes operates primarily in the Microsoft environment with Windows servers, databases, and client machines. We also support Microsoft-based mobile scanners and Android and iOS tablets and phones.

- AA degree and Microsoft-related technical certifications
- Minimum two years of IT support experience
- ERP software support a plus
- Ability to travel to office, cooler and various domestic locations to meet with employees, clients and vendors
- Respond to Help Desk requests for assistance with desktop/laptop/tablet hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot to root cause and suggest actions to prevent future problems
- Maintain help desk tracking software and log all user trouble tickets
- Follow up to insure problems resolved and solicit feedback
- Monitor computer systems and networks for proactive remediation
- Repair and upgrade hardware and peripherals for both desktop and laptop computers
- Monitor and maintain network printers
- Offer intermediate-level support for Microsoft Office365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI transaction exceptions and errors
- Provide additional first level support for Dynamics AX ERP Sales, Accounting and Distribution software
- Track IT-related inventory and maintain paperwork for computing assets and licensing management
