Green Giant Fresh is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest region of the United States. We prefer the person to be based in or in close proximity to the greater Chicago area. Prior retail and wholesale produce sales experience is a must for this position. In addition, this individual must be self-motivated, have high energy, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills to use with building accounts and relationships for the Green Giant Fresh brand in the Midwest.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, full benefits package offered.

- A minimum 5 years outside sales experience within the fresh produce industry.
- High emphasis on new product and new customer development experience.
- Both national and regional retail account experience within the Midwest market.
- A solid understanding of retail produce purchasing and merchandising.
- Strong communication and negotiating skills (both internal and external).
- Computer literate with emphasis on presentations, data analysis, reporting, and communication.
- Category management expertise a plus.
- National brand experience a plus.
- Both commodity and Value Added experience a plus.
The Regional Sales Manager is expected to manage accounts and expand the Green Giant Fresh line of products for Growers Marketing, LLC and our licensing partners. A major aspect of this position is the sell in and expansion of new products in the Midwest region. Additional responsibilities include:
- Managing and building Green Giant Fresh brand sales in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest.
- Coordinating with region retail accounts and wholesale partners to sell Green Giant Fresh products.
- Conducting regular sales calls, account business reviews, and customer business analysis.
- Generating new business and expanding the Green Giant Fresh brand and products.
- Coordinating and strategizing daily with inside sales, sales management, and licensing partners.
- Performing market analysis, analyzing region sales statistics, and doing sales forecasting.
- Launching new products.
- Daily coordinating with other departments throughout the company.
