Job Description:
Assist Production manager on supervision of production lines. Responsible for providing individuals on their line all materials needed for work such as gloves, hairnets, aprons and labels. Coordinates the job of the production line/area to keep a constant production flow. Training labor on the job and on Food Safety & Good Manufacturing Practices. Report any kind of insubordination and any quality/production observation or recommendations to the Production and Personnel Manager.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Work with supervisor and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
- Execute and coordinate employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.
- Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the work area.
- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Production Supervisor.
- Work closely with support staff such as Maintenance and Production Supervisor
- Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.
- Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
- Participate as an active member of the production assembly team.
- Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Quality System.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate production functions.
